According to the Sun bear diet above in this food web, you can see that the Sun bear is at the top of the food web, which mean that the Sun bear is a tertiary consumer. The tertiary consumer in this case eat both meats and plants which mean that it is an omnivore. Sun bear have a range of variety of food that they can chose from to eat for their daily diet such as Lacertilia,Termitoidae, Honey, Small insect, Rodentia, Seed, Fruit, Berrie and small bird. The fact that Sun bear have a lot of food combination to chose from really help them to stay alive because if they can not find a certain type of food, they can just eat another type of food inside the food web. As you know every living organism need to eat food to stay alive, so if the only food soruce that the animal eat run out than they will starve and eventually die. For example: Panda, The only food that they can eat is bamboo. In this situation the food web show that the Sun bear have more chance to stay alive compare to panda since it have more than one combination to pick from.
