Sun bear
Sun bear is know as the smallest kind of bear in the whole world, this bear speices can only be found around Southeast Asia. According to the World Conservation Union they have said that six out of the eight world's bear species is going to become extinct if we don't start to take seriouse action in taking care of them. In 2007 IUCN Species Programme and IUNC Species Survival Commission (SSC) have also said that the number of Sun bear population have decrese by 30% during this pass 30 years or 3 decades but this is just an estimate since no-one have actually found the exact population of Sun bear.
Problem
1. Some people believe that Chinese medicine is very effective and this have really effect the Sun bear population because people start to hunt for Sun bear Gall bladder and Bile to sell it in the black market.
2. Sun bears are also hunt for their paws to use in Chinese Traditional food. People believe that eating bear paws make them stronger and make them feel more powerful.
3. Sun bear are also killed when farmer spotted them entering farm land to eat crop and other vegetable.
4. The loss of habitat really effect the Sun bear population becuase when the people try to invade the area they have to move all of the animal away or kill them. The second reason is that when the Sun bear have a smaller place to live in, it is harder for them to hunt for food because the Sun bear will have to fight with each other to get the food. This situation is also know as deforestation. People start to cut forest/tree down because they need the land for houses or farming land. As you know every year the population is increasing which mean that we need more land for different use. 2000 World population 6,082,966,429. 2013 World population: 7,208,075,670. From 2000 to 2013 the world population increase by 1,125,109,241.

On the map above you can see that most of the Sun bear that live in Southeast Asia had become extinct in certain place. This is all cause from all of the problem that we have above. So we should start to save the Sun bear right know before it too late.
